I guess I should try again with 2.5 units, although that amount looked like a failed reduction only a couple days ago?

Did you take a second reading? Could be a wonky strip.

I didn't take a second reading. I should have, although this happened recently, too, a fall from AMPS in the 300s to +12 in the 40s, which led me to assume it was accurate. I did test again about 25 minutes later, but that's Karo influenced. So I guess I'll be stalling awhile longer...
