Hi guys,
Merry is still feeling yellow with just some infrequent blues. He has tonight's cycle & 2 tomorrow before his dose change. I'm assuming if he continues as he is that I will increase 0.25 again on Nov 30. Or should I increase 0.50 since he's still kind of flat just in yellow now on the human meter instead of pink on the AT2?
When I got an 11 reading at +7 today I got a bit excited, hoping it might decrease a bit more at +8 but no luck, he started to increase. I wonder if he might have a been a tad lower at +5 or +6 but I wasn't able to check. This disease is so frustrating. When I started fostering him I thought with the right food & the right amount of insulin we could get him regulated & maybe even in remission in no time but it's not working out like that at all. It's definitely been a learning process & now at least I know about a disease I never had to deal with in my own cats before so learning is a good thing. It's just a bit overwhelming at times with my own kitties & their needs & all their meds & last week I just found out my 10 yr old boy Simon has a clot in his heart which was totally unexpected so he's on meds now too, so that's 6 pill organizes on my counter plus Merry's insulin & I'm fostering 3 kittens who are on meds. I think I am your proverbial crazy cat lady! LOL!
