increased from 1.45 to 1.5

So I’m an idiot. Today is my early work day, and in trying to save time- I wanted to pull her dose into the syringe before I showered that way the only thing I have to do after is test and feed.
But because it’s become such a habit- after pulling the dose, and being in my head about other stuff unrelated- I gave her the dose- and immediately afterward realized “wtf is wrong with me I didn’t even feed or test her yet- and it’s a half hour early not 15 minutes!!

Should I worry?

Tried to stop home today but couldn’t. Left Mimi and Batman our together because before I was about to leave they were both cuddling under the bench near the balcony where the sun comes in.. I just couldn’t separate them!
Hopefully Batman shared or Mimi didn’t eat all of the food. It’s either Batman eats too much and takes over her food or he doesn’t eat much at all and she overeats.
Eh, one day doing this can’t hurt.
Mimi was very hungry when I came home- 96 was her reading at +8.5

I would have been jolted awake by that one myself...as an early shot can act like an increase. So sorry you got befuddled and had that mix up...let's hope all is well when you get home and you can drop back to your usual schedule. We do like our routines don't we? I don't even get the insulin out of the fridge until after I've tested Luci and set her in the laundry room with her food - then I prep the shot - but I have to admit, I have three different alarms for my morning routine - one day I discovered that I'd forgotten all about Luci and left her in the pantry an extra half hour!! Uh oh...late shot that day...it happens.

Forgive yourself, move on and try to get back to your routine tomorrow....life happens. :)

Omg I do the same thing with Mimi- I have a routine with her and then there are times within seconds it seems, that I’ll get distracted and start doing something else (like washing the dishes while they eat) and I have to constantly keep myself on track “ROSA- INSULIN!”
