Need to give IM injection to a Cat. don't know how

I have googled and googled for diagram for giving IM injections and can't find what i need to help me.
Does anyone know where to find just a plain diagram?
Or maybe just where to give the shot.
I'm afraid i will hit the kidneys or sciatic nerve.

Vet told me to give along the side of the spine but i can't feel the muscle there. He had me to
feel that area for the muscle and i could not feel it.

Vet is ready for me to do the injections at home. (once a week)

Fluffy gets PolyGlycan IM once a week and it has to be IM.

When I first had to give Adequan injections they were supposed to be in the muscle. So I looked up feline musculature pictures, which helped. This shows the big back muscle where your vet instructed you to give shot.

The photos are sure better than really dissecting up a kitty like I did in school a few years ago.
