Good morning all of Lantus Land and the beautiful kitties! Hugs to the beans and scritches to the kitties :YMHUG: cat_pet_icon

I just wanted to give an update from my visit with Webber's vet yesterday. I went for a shot for my civie but she did ask about Webber. I had taken a color copy of his speadsheet and a copy of the Tilly protocol. She could not get over all the work I had been doing. She said she was so proud of us and so happy for us! She asked for me to explain the spreadsheet to her. She also asked if she could keep the copy to show the other doctor's. I am really pleased that she was so receptive. I think that this may change the way she treats her other clients sugarbabies

For those of you that don't know - I never spoke to my vet after the first initial dosing advice. I strictly followed the modified Tilly Protocol and dosing advice from those most experienced users here in FDMB-LL. Fortunately Webber did not need any medical attention that required the vets input. We NEVER would have gotten here without ALL OF YOU! The video and well wishes made me cry. I am a very very happy and proud bean today and wish all the best to all of you other beans and your babies.

This message board has become like an extended family. To have found others that treat their cats the way we do is sooo wonderful. We understand each other because we have walked in each others shoes. I hope to pay it foward many many times.

What a great story, Paige! You did such a good job with your boy...he wasn't here long, but he sure had a terrific response to Lantus, with your help and expertise. You really did your homework..no wonder your vet was impressed! You are a great Mom to him, and so devoted.

My warmest most happiest "Congratulations" ever Paige & Webber!!! You did it, you truly did it!!! We both started around the same time and I became very fond of your internet posts about all the new treatments and feelings :mrgreen: And low and behold, here you are two months later w/an OTJ party! Wow wow wow! That is incredible!

I'm so thrilled we began together! And although I'll miss Webber's daily posts (I learned so much!) I am so happy he is a green boy now. He'll always be a chocokitty in my heart.
