Hello everyone. I haven't been on in a long long time but i really need some help
    again.
My Cat Fluffy has been getting Buprenex for severe arthritis for 2 years and today I'm
told it is on back order.
Fluffy is so crippled from the arthritis and the Buprenex helps so much!

Does anyone know where I could order Buprnec from?
What is a safe pain medication beside Buprnex?
I have to give injections as i cannot get a pill down Fluffy.

    Thanks so much.

I can't help with where to order the bupe, but I think some people have had some success with Toradol and Tramadol

You might want to edit your subject line and add the ? icon to help let people know you have a question

Have you ever tried Adequan? We have lots of arthritis kitties getting that too

    I recommend diamondbackdrugs.com

    I get 10 mL of bupenorphine for $40 + 5 or 6 for shipping.
I just put my refill request in.... so as far as I know, they have some..... ( i sure hope so)

your vet will have to fax them a prescription... and they call you for payment info...

I give Fluffy Adequan already. Don't know how much it helps.
I don't know how to do the question icon.
    Thank you again!

You don't have a profile so I can see what the severe arthritis is.
The adequan helps ( we use it every 3 weeks) but the bupe helped even more.

go back to your first post.... click on edit and there are 4 options for edit title... one of them should be a question mark.

Look over to the right side and look for "Thread Tools" (to the right of your subject line)

There's a little drop down arrow and you can choose to "Edit Title" there and then just look for the ? "Prefix"

Yes that was oral - liquid... much easier than pills.... you just get it in their cheek pouch.

When my vet didn't have a med for me, they called one of the ER vets and they had it and called in the prescription for me, and I went an picked it up there. She was willing to call all the vets until she found some. Maybe your vet would do that for you, or allow you to find it and they would then call in the prescription.

Once you've clicked edit your post, over to the left of the title, there is a small drop down where you can pick an icon.
