Okay... So, brief post. He is actually doing incredibly well. He was in phenomenal shape in regards to poo and pee thus morning. Better than he has been in a longtime.

He is traveling very well... A little in the kennel a little in my lap. He ate very well this morning. No vomiting. Numbers in just the right range. All in all we are doing great! He is doing great!

We left a little late so we have some time to make up, but I gave us an extra day of travel. So we will be fine.

I will upload the v-log at the room!

Thank you guys, ALL of you, so so much! All is well and I just got out first in motion test. He did not even budge. Its like he knows we are on an important mission and its just like at home... I clicked the lancing device and got my blood and he just sat there, perfectly still..

He also just had his first on the road and in motion meal. His appetite is voracious as ever! Pig is a flipping susperstar!!!

Oh... He did have a little mini freak out when I had to go potty.. Lol. He tried to come too! But, he calmed right back down when I got back. Guess I will just have to be the one to hold it now!

We are working on getting it uploaded and ready... Still perfecting this thing. I will post a link to it here soon!!! There is not much to show for today as we started pretty late, but I plan for more tomorrow. Especially with how we packed and prepared. This is so exciting and challenging!

Okay.. We have made it to the hotel. We did not get as far as we had hoped, but that is okay. Pig did fantastic, eating and testing the whole way, but got a bit antsy and bored around the 6 hour mark. We were about an hour from shot time so decided to call it a day. We had a spot of trouble with the hotel as the ones that said they are pet friendly really mean that they are DOG friendly.. Shaw. As if.... Dogs.

He is a nut. The second I let him out of the carrier he found a way to crawl inside the bed springs like a pro kitty cat and once I managed to get him out he found the ONLY piece of dry dog kibble in the whole room... Left overs from the previous occupants. I managed to get it out of his mouth, thank goodness. He is keeping me on my toes, but I imagine he is about to fall asleep. He has been pretty alert all day and I am thinking he is exhausted.

Since I know he is eating well on the road, we are going to leave before amps to make up time. All I need to do is pre-prepare the meds and then I can draw the insulin on the road. I am going to fine tune the seating arrangements so we avoid the antsy boredom. It is a work in progress, but with everyone's help our packing is supreme! I have kits for EVERYTHING.. Funny thing is, i did not even pack myself until 15 before we left. To be honest, I have no idea what I even brought.. haha

I have found the same thing and it makes me so mad! I want to sue for false advertising, since they all say "pet friendly"!

How wonderful that he will eat in the vehicle. None of mine ever would. Nor drink water. Our current kittens, Boris and Natasha, endure a 14 hour drive twice a year to Phoenix and back with no food until nighttime. I can't imagine trying to do it with a diabetic.
