Please be on the lookout for a new lantus member

I've been sitting over in the chatroom at petloss.com and met a person (uses budkate over there). Their cat Tanner was diagnosed 4 months ago with diabetes and was started at 4 units lantus bid, is eating dm. I gently (but strongly) recommended they come here for help because their cat still isn't getting any better and the numbers aren't good. Lowest is 217 after a ps of 300 (can't remember exact number here) this morning, then evening ps of 596. Anyway, if you see this person can you please give them some assistance........they're pretty scared right now of losing their Tanner!
