First of all sorry I have been so absent. I would love to be here more and pay forward what I can of all the help I have received.

I have not been able to get a good curve but Gretchen’s optimal seems to be 3. I always pre test but I just haven’t been a good mom over getting a curve. For the first time in years Gretchen was playing and tearing around with the other 2, she’s gained weight, she walks normal- she’s doing great.

My question is... I am almost to the bottom of my first vial... when I switch to a new vial it won’t change things will it?

Hi. Sometimes, I have noticed the start of a new vial to be a little 'stronger', but it just depends.

Even if you cannot do a curve, you may want to try to get a mid-cycle test occasionally so you have some idea of how low the dose is taking her. Insulin needs are ever-changing, and that is a fairly large dose.

Glad to hear she is feeling so well!
