I made stew for myself for dinner, but I use cornstarch instead of flour.

I'd licked the proverbial platter nearly clean, but there was still a smidgen left in the bowl - which was on the floor next to me. (Don't ask.)

While I was distracted by something on the computer, Jester quietly slipped beside me and licked at some of whatever was left.

There wasn't much there and I don't think he was at it for very long. I wanted him to have three hours of fasting before his pre-bed BG test.

Anyone want to weigh in and reassure me?

It's OK.....even the Gerber baby food we all use occasionally has a little cornstarch in it.

If it does cause his BG to go up, it'll come right back down soon.
