Had a great surprise this morning. I went to bed reassured after the green 95, but overall yesterday Quintus's numbers had been slowly climbing from 117 in the morning to 158 10 hours later, and I was getting ready to break out the syringes again, but very stressed by the fact I only had 9 strips left and my various attempts to source them were all going to take days.
So this morning, whee, 65! Lime green all by himself! He hadn't eaten yet but he'd had a nice play session and gone outside (not long, it's raining). I sacrificed one of my remaining strips to get a +1, for the sake of science: 72...
I think I can relax for today!
