raccoon distemper, outdoor cats, spring is coming

    Nice out today, snow is melting. First thing on the news? Raccoon bites man in bus shelter in broad daylight. I've actually seen a raccoon with distemper, very unpleasant. A lot of people mistake it for rabies.
    If you have an outdoor cat it can happen to you.
