With regard to constipation or diarrhea, how much pumpkin do you dose? I bought 100% pumpkin today for the kits (someone had diarrhea). I fed each 1 tsp. pumpkin + 1 T. cat food. How do you dose?

How's he doing? Did you go to vet?

I saw something about 1/4 tsp to start but I think 1 tsp would be ok.. Try it for a few days before increasing to see how he does..

He didn't eat all of the pumpkin/cat food mix, so he probably got no more than 1/2 tsp. Other than the high BG's, he's doing ok. I called the vet who has not yet called me back. No diarrhea; had a normal BM early afternoon, and he's peeing. He's eating & drinking. He got an increase today. I withheld his denamarin today and did not give him any cypro nor pepcid. He tested negative for ketones. Hopefully by early tomorrow his numbers stay at least in the yellow/blue range and his appetite picks up a little more. Thanks for asking Wendy :D
