Recommendation for Vet in So California -Long Beach Area

Hi All,

I need to take Ozzy back to the vet for a check up. He hasn't been checked since one week after his DKA and I'd like to see his labs again to see if things are back to normal (last labs posted on my SS).

We were taking him to VCA which is a very expensive pet hospital. For long term management of his DM, I'd just like to go to a regular vet but have no idea where to go. The Vets and staff at VCA were/are amazing and saved my Ozzy's life, but they are just super expensive and the wait is ridiculous since it's a pet emergency hospital. Also, if I go after hours (which is basically non-business hours, you know, the only time I am off work), they charge more for emergency hours.

Anyone in the So California/Long Beach area able to provide a recommendation on a good vet?
