We have been diagnosed a little over 2 weeks ago. It's been 5 days since I had to give Jax his last dose of insulin. I even got a second meter to double check. I'm wondering if this means his body is in remission? Is his BS being in the 60-70s okay?

Yes, that looks like remission to me! That's wonderful! :D Keep up the testing but you could try moving the time around a bit. It's important to keep him on low carb food from now on. He's a diet controlled diabetic.

Go Jax! Hooray! He's looking great! As Kris said, definitely keep him on low carb foods for the rest of his life. Cats can and do fall out of remission, so it's important to keep careful watch on the food, on his weight, and on his BG. I'd keep testing every day for a few more days, and then about once/week for the long haul. I'm so happy for you and Jax!
