? Rom bouncing and diving - reduction needed?

I haven't posted in a long while, but I still lurk here occasionally. Rom is only on 0.25 IU BID and he is bouncing and diving all over the show!! I know I should be more diligent about night time tests, but at the moment all my energy is going towards a kitty with cancer, so the diabetics have kind of taken a back seat. I pass out exhausted in front of the tv every evening without realising and I never hear the alarms set on my phone. Do you think he needs a reduction?
 
I'm so sorry about your kitty with cancer. I learned to just make the most of each day when my civvie was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Under the circumstances, it might be safest for you to reduce the dose. It does look like he is going low and that is causing the high bounces.
 
Thanks @carfurby. I thought diabetes was hard to handle, but cancer really is awful. I am taking each day as it comes. I know it won't be long though. Trouble is I am going on holiday in 3 weeks and I am dreading it.

What do you think I should reduce his dose to? I tried 0.01 (basically a drop) but I wasn't even sure if he got anything.
