Can growling and swearing at me in cat talk at home elevate BG?

You have to remember with a pet meter is higher. If you compare it to others, most of them are on pet meters. A 113 on alpha might be a 75 on human.

Yes. Stress can definitely raise numbers. But 113 is still within normal range on a human meter (50-120), so on the AT2, I'm sure he's fine. I wish we coded from 120 on down as green, because I share your green obsession and have to keep reminding myself that "good" goes a little higher than our colors show.

We'll still be here to celebrate tomorrow though!

Maybe that's why the vet told me that he was ok as long as he was below 170? I know typically it's 150.

My vet has a higher tolerance for the numbers than I do, too. She said she'd consider him in remission at this point. Some cats do run a little higher, so I think that's why. However, Sam starts to show increased thirst/pee/and even some neuropathy when he's just in the low-200's, so I think he feels better at the lower end of the normal range. ECID.

It should be below 150 on alphatrak and below 120 on human
