Temptations treats

Does anyone know how many carbs are in temptations treats? Catnip flavor in particular? I bought a bag for "jusi in case" Gobbles BG gets low, but wondering if he can have one occasionally?

 

The most it could be is 8.5 calories per gram if all fat; 3.5 calories per gram if pure carbohydrate of protein. Does it say what 1 treat weighs, or has in calories?

 

It says under 2 calories per treat....so carbs would be about
...?

 

At most, 2 calories worth of carbs.
2/3.5 = .571 grams

Call it 1/2 gram of carbs

 

Back reads "calorie content: 4050 kcal ME/kg. ... i am wondering if it is ok to give one as a treat now & then?

 

1 treat = 1/2 gram of carb = 2 calories = pretty negligible if only 1 given per day.
Probably OK unless exceptionally sensitive

Freeze dried chicken is another option that is pure protein/fat.
