Anyone have experience treating asthma in diabetic cats? we gave Bubby a dose of Terbutaline about half an hour ago and he just wants to sleep. Normally this time of night he is wanting to eat as it is almost time for his insulin. I checked his BG and it is 673 that is the highest of the 600's I've gotten. He is newly diagnosed and unregulated but his behavior is worrying me

Does your vet have an out of hours number? If I were in your position, I'd ring the vets as well as looking for input here. (Don't have any experience with asthma so can't add anything more.)

It might be an idea to post on the Lantus and Levemir board as well as here if you don't get an answer here very soon. I know that there are members who know more about asthma. L&L is a busier board and you might get more eyes on your post there.

Fingers and paws crossed Bubby's OK. :bighug:
