so my boy Truffles has not needed insulin for a week now! Do I still need to test twice a day or am I safe to test once a day and if so when is best? At what stage can you go weekly testing?

They need to go 14 days without insulin to be consider in remission, so until that point, you will probably want to keep testing regularly - at least the two times that would have been shot time.

I have been testing Houston 3x daily since he came off insulin. His # varies depending on his carb intake & am thinking of cutting back to 2x daily & less as time goes by.

Truffles is halfway there! I'm a bit superstitious, that's all I'll say but emojis don't count so :) :woot:
