My cat C.C. has been meowing all day. I have not seen her go into the litterbox today. I did see her lift her tail to spray the wall and nothing came out.

I just got back from a 5 day trip and the petsitter didn't mention anything. I called her to ask her specifically about C.C. (waiting for a call back).

Is there anything I can do besides adding more water to her food to help?

There is a big difference between cystitis and UTIs. Both require pain meds, and only one requires antibiotics. You've no idea if you are dealing with either of these two issues, blockage or something else. I'd seriously recommend a trip to the vet to find out the actual cause of your cat's pain. Check out Dr Lisa's info at http://www.catinfo.org/?link=urinarytracthealth

Sorry you had to come home to this!
