I bought some test strips off of ebay for my Breeze 2 meter. The seller included (for free) a box of expired strips from Sept '09. Do you think those would still be viable or should I just toss them?

    Thanks for the advice...

best way to know if they read accurately is to compare a reading to an unexpired strip.

i know there's alot of brands that you can use for a few months after the expiration date, i.e. Contour, Freestyle, One Touch and still get accurate readings

(p.s. if you try it and they are good, let me know, i might have some to send you)

I just realized I never posted the results of my test!!!

When I used the expired strips (expired Nov '09), I got Vesta's BG at 95. On a fresh strip that expires Aug '11, BG was 80. That's a difference of 18%. We tossed the box.
