So just fed Victor and after eating most of his food, he went to his litter box to go poop and his bowels are more soft-looking (not runny or anything) than usual. Is it still okay to give him his insulin shot?

How’s Victor this AM? As long as he’s feeling ok and eating, you should be able to give his insulin. I see you’re giving him laxatone. Does he have consitipation problems? If his bowels get too soft, maybe lower the dose for a bit.

He was pretty normal other than the soft bowels and ate pretty much all of his food, so we did go ahead and give his insulin. Hasn't had any other problems so far. Yes, he does have issues with constipation, and am definitely keeping an eye on how his bowels are doing.

Lucy had some soft stools and diarrhea a while back after some antibiotics, my vet recommended Fortiflora and it seems to have helped.
