Hi , My cat is having problems standing and walking. This problem started for the first time this morning.
Took him to the vet right away. The vet told me Benny's high BG numbers and dehydration last couple of days may have caused this.

My cat is able to stand under his own power when I help him, but then spreads eagle. He looks like he is trying to walk on an oily surface.

Cats do have neuropathy but it usually in the beginning of the sugar dance, before the numbers stabilize. It can be treated with B12 as this article indicates, but getting the numbers lower is necessary also.

Have his numbers been higher lately? Do you want help trying to get them lower? Your spreadsheet is way out of date. Maybe you could put his numbers from the last few days on?

We put together a protocol for ProZinc that might be helpful also.

It is great you are hometesting. Does he also eat a wet low carb diet?
