I am feeding Lucy Wellness Core Turkey & Duck which I just discovered is considered to have a high phosphorus value (265mg per Lisa Pierson's chart). What does that transfer to as a dry matter % for comparison purposes to other foods? I am really not good with these conversions so appreciate any help. Lastly, what is a good phosphorus number in mg to shoot to stay below from the food chart?

    Thank you!

Phosphorus is usually measured in mg phosphorus /100 kcal.
250 mg/100kcal is considered ok but I used to try and get under 200.
I'm no good at conversions either but Here is a chart from Weruva which has the various measurements in mg/100kcal and in dry matter for you to compare.

It's really not A high value. If lucy has ckd you'll may want that down a bit (under 250 but ideally under 200) but if you consider many flavors of fancy feast are 350+ in phosphorous it's not bad. It's lucy ckd? If so you should add that info to your signature.
