Hello! My name is Rejane and my 11 years old male Maine coon, Simba, was diagnosed yesterday with diabetes. This morning I went to the vet again to learn how to give him insulin. She prescribed Lantus, 2ml twice a day. I am in the US and I'm shocked with the price of insulin. Can anyone please give me some directions on where I can find Lantus in a more affordable price? Thank you!

All the information on Marks in Canada is in this post

    They are GREAT!

You want to get the 5 pack of pens instead of the vials too....the pens are like having 5 "mini-vials" that each hold 300 units instead of the vial which holds 1000 units. With the vial, most people end up throwing about half of it away because it loses efficacy before you can use that much. With the pens, you can use every last drop! The pens will last until the expiration date on the box..usually at least 2 years away

Please note that you would be giving 2 units of Lantus, not 2 mL.
