Wondering about U 100 Syringes

    I have read that the smaller gauge, shorter needle on the U 100 syringes might not be long or thick enough to penetrate the fat layer, so insulin is not getting into the cat. Is this true? Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

    The vast majority of us use the U100 syringes here and they work fine as long as your technique is good. Most of us use 3/10cc, 30 or 31 gauge, 5/16" needle length with no problems
