So I decided to call my vet in regards to last night. They have warned me of a bounce, they expect one and are saying give no insulin. I don't agree but feel caught. They also recommend not to test as I could see high numbers. I feel like it would be a huge step back not to give it if he is at shoot able numbers. They want me to wait until his primary vet is on tomorrow afternoon so it would mean skipping 2 doses. Fern has had another pretty looking cycle today; he's been in the blues for 4 hours. Why did I call the vet?

What to shot, if any, would be based on tonight's PM PS. Based n recent BG I likely would not give more than 1unit even it that,

That is kind of where my thinking was. I'm really mad at the don't bother to test because you shouldn't give insulin because we say so. Even though we don't dance the sugar dance with you every day.
