Yesterday Neko had a great mostly blue day, but then I blew the evening with a fur shot. ohmygod_smile The good news is that she only went to pink with a fur shot whereas red used to be the norm.

Today is fur shot recovery day for Neko, aka Slide Day. That fur shot was so annoying. I sniffed her after the shot and all was good and it wasn't until that +3 last night that I suspected something and smelled insulin. Oh well, I got better sleep and got a pass to ease on the pokies before heading out to rowing this morning.

Neko got breffs #3 late after we got back. She was very glad to see us return. Then promptly headed outside. She was lying on the deck for a while in the shade of the BBQ but now has wondered downstairs. Kind of surprising because the deck surface gets so hot in the sun that I don't like walking on in barefoot so I'm surprised she's OK with walking it barepaw. She's probably sleeping under a bush somewhere now. I'll head out soon to pick berries and go look for her.

OT: DH is in a regatta tomorrow - I hope he didn't work too hard rowing today. He's got at least 3 races tomorrow (single, double, quad). I think I can see the last two. The first is at +.5 and I think it takes 25 minutes to get there. It's just a heat so paws crossed he makes the final which I could get to.

Sorry about the fur shot, but at least you got some sleep. I hope Neko continues her slide today. Hopefully you'll get to see some of your DH in the regatta tomorrow. I hope he does well.

Looks like she's recovered pretty well from the fur shot.

@Carla - Yup, still sliding! Sleep was great, but not so much tonight.

@Rhiannon - It's as if the fur shot didn't exist. Neko hung out for a while outside "hiding" but I could see her from above at the living room window. :lol:

@Liz - Looks like a 2 cycle slide going on. Neko really enjoys this weather. Regatta should be fun, but DH will be beat with that many races.

@Linda - Thanks for stopping by. Hope the arm relaxes soon. I broke my elbow in February - it's darn inconvenient when an arm won't work.

@Marje - Slept in just a bit after TFS this morning as rowing wipes me out. Thanks on the wishes to DH, should be fun - it's the closest rowing club next to ours so I can pop in and out. I think Neko is listening to you!
