7/27 Zener PMPS 348;+2 294;+4.5 271

Yesterday

Zener had a 24 hour blue streak which abruptly ended this morning. :-x His tummy seems to be a little tender and crampy. I gave a little massage after his first bowl of breffis and got some growls and hisses for my trouble. Poor guy. He's doing ok now, watching the squirrels in the backyard and still savoring his catching a bird yesterday. I was able to rescue the poor little finch and it flew away.

OT: We got 0.6" of rain yesterday evening and other parts of town got more. I see in the paper that there was quite a bit of flooding in areas that hadn't had flooding recently. No worries for us in our part of town.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jupiter and Jamie, Donna's Doogle, Mariko's Lucy, Bern's Tashie. Congratulations to Willie, OTJ! He has always been an amazing kitty. Paws crossed for OTJ trial for Kitty. Happy Caturday, LL!

Hi Liz,

Zener could still supply the family with some nutrition if you would just let him, or even help him out with a bird feeder or two!

Hope his tummy is feeling better and he slides gently down some!

Hi, Liz, I just got caught up on yesterday's news about the bird-catching ~ I wonder if Z-man will start hanging out by windows during his yard patrol now, just to wait and see if something small and flighty may get stunned by the impact... I'm glad he got the satisfaction of catching real live prey, AND the real live prey is still real and alive . Good job on trying to feed your MamaBeans, Zener; we all know how we humins need help with feeding ourselves ;-) :lol: :lol: .

Awww, Zener...you should definitely let mamaLiz massage your tummy. It will make your tummy feel better! And you should definitely stop bouncing! Come back down, please!

Z-Man! We still proclaim you 'Sir Bird Catcher' even if it was a bit slow and MamaBean took it away. Looking at the +2, you're still eatin' cake u snuck in...

Oh I missed Zener catching a tweetie bird. He's pretty sneaky there and fast. Sending tummy vines and hope the massage is helping. I saw on TWC the rain in your area. I thought there was hail or it may have been another area. We still have not had any rain in this area, some nice cloudy days though. Have a great day.

So Z Man is a birder! Nice going, Zener. But you wouldn't have enjoyed eating all those feathers, so it's good mama Liz gave the little finch another life.

Did you train today for the up-coming races, Liz? I got out on my bike again for a few miles. All the triathletes warming up on the roads are inspiring. :lol: Tomorrow is the Lake Placid Ironman.

Well, BLECH, UGH and YUCK... a stinky pinky cycle after two lovely back to back blues.

Zener's tummy is still not up to par, so his appy is off again. Poor guy, wish we had a magic wand to wave when that tummy is crampy. He said to be sure and tell Willie he would still be at the Caturday night OTJ party, even if he has to avoid some of the richest foods. ;-)

We've moved his fluids up from +9 to +7 to see if that has any effect on his numbers. Giving fluids was smooth like buttah, thanks to Marje, Mike and the Gentlemen Gus for the video that made us feel more comfortable giving the fluids. :YMHUG:

Big thunder and lightning, so off the computer we go for now. We'll be back later to visit condos provided our weather cooperates.

Storm has passed and we got quite a lot of rain but no flooding right around us. The kitties do not like the thunderstorms at all. :? Going to take the opportunity with these mellow yellows to get to bed earlier than last night, well...this morning. @-) Zener seems to be feeling a bit better this evening. Thanks to all who visited the mighty hunter today, I'm sorry I didn't have time to reply to you all individually. The storm cramped my computer time!
