Well Lucky woke me at 5am it was still dark he usually wakes me at 5;30 when the coffee pot goes off,so I rolled out of bed thinking he was low "because that's what he does" But NO he just wanted food and he sent his sister Foxy to come stick her nose up mine to make sure I got up,Foxy has a thing with sticking her nose up yours I have no idea why she does this :lol: Taz has decided he wants to eat on his cat scratcher, Kalohe just can't smell his food I have to put some on his nose, I have vet appt on the 3rd when I get paid so they can give him a shot for infection. Really need to do a yard sale but no where to have it, brother to ill has PSTD after hip replacement from there "cat Stinky who attacked him" and made him fall,something happen to him I guess during surgery he now get bad panic attacks.Has anyone been attacked real bad by a cat this was after they put Wal Mart flea treatment on him he started acting weird seeing bugs that weren't there :lol: He was a very sweet cat his weight was out of control think he was about 30 lbs or more,very sad had to have him put down only 5 years old. Well there all sleeping now mom took pain pill need to clean house, doctor says to do surgery on shoulder and put clavicle back in place but have no one here to help me out so not sure what to do yet.

yes we are green, not sure when I drop dose again but that should be fun :lol:

Lucky is doing great! I like looking at spreadsheets where in the beginning they were rainbow kitties, then all of a sudden....all greens and blues! Great inspiration for me. Have a good day!

Linda, I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder needing a surgery and your brother not doing well.
It's hard to stay positive when multiple things are going wrong...
It know it's stressful.
I wish we lived close and I could come help!
But you have a great thing going too!
Lucky's doing soooo good, what a good boy making his bean's stress less.
I hope your shoulder feels better with the pain med.

Umm, Think I know what Lucky's next dose should be. Let me check in with a couple other folks here.

I think a half a drop not sure how to do this with these new syringes, When does he get his new dose

Rather than worry about how to draw the new dose, what do you think about starting an OTJ trial tomorrow morning?

Here are the instructions:
  • Test at your normal AMPS and PMPS times. Feed multiple small meals throughout the day as much as possible (small meals are less likely to overwhelm a newly functioning pancreas)
  • If Lucky is green at your normal test times, no need to test further until the next "PS" time, just feed small meals and go about your day. If he is blue, feed a small meal and test again after about 3 hours. If his number is lower 3-4 hours after a meal, then his pancreas is working!
  • If, after 2 weeks Lucky has stayed in normal numbers, we have a party!
Sometimes the trial doesn't work the first time and we have to give a little more support in the form of resuming insulin. It's not the end of the world if that happens, we just give him the support he needs. Our goal is a strong remission and it's better to take our time to get that than to rush into remission just to have it fail later on.

The next dose was the 0U, AKA an OTJ trial. :mrgreen: Just needed to confer on that with folks. Wendy&Neko gave you the go ahead. Let's rock it Lucky!!!
