Yesterday was Neko's typical bouncette during the day followed by a nice blue (or better) PM cycle. I went to bed at +6 with the same number I started this morning.
7/27 Recap:
AMPS 212 +4 327 +9 225
PMPS 188 +3.5 163 +6 119
Neko's had all but one of her breakfast servings and just came into the kitchen hinting that it would be OK to feed the last serving early. She had a little walk outside after first breffs and has done some napping in the solarium. Theo got her big basket first, so she had to settle for his slightly smaller bed. Neko's a bigger cat so likes the bigger bed, but that makes it all the more attractive to Theo. DH watched Neko go into the solarium, look at Theo in her basket, and could practically hear a sigh as she contemplated whether the chair or other bed would be her nap spot. In spite of complaining that he has her basket, I did find just Neko in the solarium at +6 last night, and she was in his bed. It's not so bad afterall.
OT: Today Theo is having another of his FLUTD flares. :YMSIGH: No peeing yesterday and today he's starting to visit the LB a bit more often and try. He's had a couple of quarter sized pees so far today. He's been getting lots of extra liquids on his food, and I syringed some extra water in him last night. Of course being Sunday his vet is closed. I called Neko's vet, and since he's not a patient there they couldn't find room for him. I could take him to the vet I did the last time he had a flare (on a Sunday  ) but wasn't too satisfied with the service. I guess I could insist on some fluids but all they'll want to do is sell me the high carb C/D food. Last time they called two times after our visit trying to sell it. At least this time it'd be a regular vet and not a locum. The other option is a higher priced vet office that isn't open for another two hours, but no guarantee I'll get in. But I know personally two of the vets (and row with one of them) and I know they are up to date with stuff - they recommend home testing for FD. Or I could wait and if I can't get in to either, then it's off to emerg. vetty. On the plus side, it's early in the flare and he doesn't seem to be too bothered by it yet.
