8/6 Nikki AMBG 36; PMBG 35 - OTJ Trial Day 6

Yesterday's Condo

Well, my girl is nothing if not consistent! :mrgreen: She's seemed really happy the last two days. She loves to come in the bathroom after my shower and does a furry purry dance, involving lots of headbutts and rolling around on the floor. Hoping that there won't be any long term affects from this low BG but as long as she seems fine I'm happy! I've got a food delivery coming tonight, so the girls will get some new flavors. Nikki's poos are best on poultry it seems, so I'll be giving her mostly chicken and turkey going forward. I might need to start adding a little Miralax to Dee's food, as she always has dry little ball poos. :roll:

So you got two kitties with poo issues? That's ok - I have two that are mentally challenged!!!

Nikki is being so good! Now at least you can get out and about and have a few drinks when you want (and look more like a scene from Sex & The City)! Bob is sad because they are no longer cosmically connected, but he thinks Nikki is da bomb.

:lol: Opposite poo issues no less! Of course, it could be that Dee is normal but I've been stuck with Nikki for so long that I no longer remember what normal is! :roll:

It's definitely a bit easier not be shackled at home! I'll have to work on the Sex & the City vibe a bit more though. :lol:

Bob will get there! I know it! :YMHUG: He's got a standing invite from Nikki to come and hang in weirdly low blood sugar land! :lol:

Congrats on day 6, wow thats low did Nikki get some HC to bring her up a little.keep up the good work

Not so far. No insulin, no HC! :mrgreen:

I might give her a bit more MC just to see if I can't keep her BG a bit higher but I've been holding off until her vetty visit Thursday. On the off chance that it's just my meter reading low I don't want to screw up her shot at remission!

She's VERY happy about that! Although now she complains when I do poke her! :lol: ohmygod_smile

Does your vet know that Nikki is off insulin now? it'll be very educational for them if Nikki is still throwing nice low numbers like that without insulin.

Yup, I let him know yesterday. He was a bit...surprised :shock: at how low her numbers are. :lol: I'm not sure he believes me. :roll: He doesn't really know that I was (attempting) TR. :? He's a great vet, but clearly has too many patients who have a hard time with just diastix.... ohmygod_smile

I'm still a bit worried that she's a bit too low, so I'm experimenting with bumping her carb load up just a teensy bit. I'd like her to be in the low 40's most of the time. As if I control the decisions around here! :lol:

At any rate, she just found a pillow to curl up on and have a nice bath, so she clearly is happy with the 30s! :mrgreen:
