Yesterday was same old, same old. Bounce during the day, drop at night. She was surfing in the wee hours but I gave HC so I could sleep.

I had such hope a couple days ago that she was learning to go green during the day, but I think she was just teasing me. ohmygod_smile Today is going to be a pokey break kind of day. Just as well, beans gotta get going on more house painting. It's sunny now but rains are forecast for later this week. Although it's been a great run of dry weather, the gardens could use the rain and my parents well is getting a little low, which is worrying. Cats are of course oblivious to all this, and flaked out in the solarium. At least they are in the shade but still soaking in the warmth.

I got Neko's urine C&S results back in the email. Nothing found - the reason for her peeing out of the box occasionally is just her being a brat. She's been good the last couple of days, but every once in a while likes to make a statement about the lateness of her meals. :evil: I still want to talk to vetty because now our next visit isn't for 6 months, but I forgot to ask to have Neko's heart murmur checked. It's just a routine thing we are monitoring but I don't want to go that long until the next check.

We've all done that--I know I used to and they probably do it on purpose to get candy!!! Yup, she's a brat all right--though the brattier the cat, the cuter, IMHO :mrgreen: Have a wonderful evening, Wendy!

I'm glad the C&S results were good. It's too bad Neko has to be a brat by peeing where she shouldn't. It's hard to stay mad at them because they're so cute.

Well BLECH on those numbers. Guess everyone wanted a pokey break today. Stinky pinky sure makes mellow yellow look so nice. Zener is looking for Neko on the yellow floor tonight. :roll:

Not too long ago, Zener was having a spell of not using the litter boxes at all, bathroom rug, doormats, and piddle pads mostly. I cleaned out all of his litter boxes and started using the Dr Elsey's cat attract litter. Seems to have gotten him back in the boxes again, with just an occasional half in half out pee.

Looks like Neko's doing her usual, diving down at night. :roll: She had a good wander outside after +1 dinner snack - was almost late getting back for her date with Otto (feeder)! :lol:

@Kat - Definitely a brat, definitely a cat! :lol: :lol: But you are right, part of the personality we love.

@Carla - I think I've paid for 6 C&S analysis now, all negative. And it's the expensive one. Hmmm. Maybe time to rethink that. And I do agree with you on the cute, she does make me laugh.

@Ella - Neko is active in BG, but asleep in body. She's napping most of the night but maybe she's dreaming activity. :lol: Rains got pushed off another day, so back at painting tomorrow. A few days break will be appreciated.

@Mary - She gets more gravy at night. During the day I watch to see what happens. At night I give gravy so I can sleep. Might be doing the same tonight. Darn later nadirs! Thanks on the parents well. DM is holding off on laundry or might have to go to a pay laundry. I told her she can come here, but it's a ferry ride away. Glad you thought the critter was a lizard - it was either that or an ugly alligator. :lol:

@Dara - Neko's got enough going on with her acromegaly, so I keep hoping for nothing else on top of it. So far so good, just a brat.

@Anne - Neko went looking for Zener on blue. Maybe they waved while going the opposite directions. Maybe I should try a topping of Dr. Elseys. At least it's clay so not likely something Neko will eat. :roll: I'm using a walnut based one now.

@Rhiannon - Neko is a tease, she got me hopeful. Back to the old pattern. :lol: I do sometimes think Neko wants to be first to use a box (LB) so that might be part of the problem.

Wendy, I have one who won't use a once-used box - must be clean for little tootsie's, esp. if it's someone else's pattie!!!

Glad Neko's results were good - the options aren't great - expensive test is much better negative than bad.

Maybe cats like to dive in the wee hours because they're still nocturnal at heart. Or they want their beans to be? Or maybe they like late night snacks with the Tonight Show? :lol:
