Ripley is doing great today . She sat on my chest about 5 minutes before the t/s/f alarm went off. Sweet girl. I'd much rather have her wake me than the pesky alarm.

So yesterday I finally had an empty paper-towel roll to cut up into Amy's The Best Cat Toy EVER... During my conversation with an AC (Animal Communicator) in Friday, she was talking about the relationship between Ripley and our civvie Smokey ~ they don't like each other, and Smokey often picks on Ripley. (Ripley asked the AC "Is Smokey staying? Or not?" ;-) :lol: ) Apparently, Smokey is BORED. She is a busy, active kitty and needs to be worn out every day to help redirect her from taking it out on Ripley. Soooo, the rings.... Oh my goodness, she LOVES them! We have about 10 of them scattered around the house right now... Yesterday Smokey was jumping, chasing, flipping, stalking... It was GREAT! I tried getting Ripley to play with them, but she would just gently pat a ring once, then look away. Not interested at all. (She did enjoy having one placed over her ear, though. She sat very proudly for a long time when I put it on her ~ maybe it made her feel pretty. :lol: I swear she loves wearing things on her head! :lol: :lol: :lol: ) So I can't wait for today's ring adventures ~ what a great idea!! (Now hopefully Smokey will leave my hairbands alone :-x :lol: :lol: )

Great report on Ripley and Smokey :lol: :lol: Love the ring idea. Hoot will love it. He's the only one who will really play with something. He plays with his candy (sugarless of course) and really gets that thing flying thru the air :lol: :lol: Thats his fetching toy and he loves to play fetch!!
The girls can't be to bothered :roll: I love how Ripley wore it on her ear...and she says she's no "Princess"

That's great Smokey loves the rings so much. Hopefully it will keep her from pestering Ripley. You have to get a picture of Ripley with the ring on her ear. :lol: I'd love to see that.

She was wearing her own little tiara. And from a "green" material, no less. Ripley, you are an example to us all.

I wanted to get Yoda ears for Big Dog Marley, but they only have them for tiny dogs. Marley's loss is Ripley's gain. :lol:

LOL....that is one silly girl for sure!! I'm glad Smokey loves the rings!! 3 of my 5 are obsessed...they start playing as soon as they are done eating. This morning, I found one that had been dunked in the water bowl on the steps...classic Frankie who loves to dunk all of her favorite toys!
