Yesterday was a fabulous start followed by blech!

Today is looking much better. Neko came into the BR when the alarm went off, and she meowed for attention instead of food. Neko has a lot of different sounds, this was her attention seeking mew and DH got a head butt so she was definitely asking for cuddles. I'm the one who gets asked for food. :roll: So we got a little scritching, tummy rubbing and purring going before starting the breakfast process. As usual, most of her day has been in the solarium, although she did hang around the kitchen at people breffs time.

Sorry for the late post again. I had massage late in the morning. My therapist is off for maternity leave and I thought I could wait until she got back, but apparently not (or knots as the case may be). First session since starting back rowing, lots of ouchies today.

I'm thinking of Barb and sending her Checkers tons of feel better vines today. And tummy settling vines to all the furry crew at Marje and Mike's place.

Rowing is hard work especially on your back and shoulders. You needed the massage!

massage sounds nice....
my dh figured out years ago that you can get these crystalline knots and if you get someone to press them out.... ( I think the pressing really hurts but it does works) , they dissipate.
He had this pt who gave him a special cane where he could press out his own knots.

I used to get acupuncture for my knots, but since I started getting regular chiropractic sessions, I stopped getting knots. :smile:

haha...my chiropractor asked me (several years ago) when I had surgery on my back/shoulders/neck?! I asked what he was talking about confused_cat His reply: Yeah, when you had all of your neck/shoulder/back muscles replaced with steal rods! New goal in life: to marry a massage therapist. :lol: :lol: Looking good, Neko! Glad you let your hoomins have a little "attention" time this morning. Sleep well!

What a nice little daytime surprise green from Neko! I can only hope it's a trend.

@Carla - Wasn't it great to see our girls do the yellow to green slide today!

@Rich - Neko usually lets me out in the morning. Typically she bounces or surfs a bit first and does a later nadir in the AM cycle. Rowing actually uses the quads and glutes more but it does stress the wonky shoulder a bit. Massage helped a lot!

@Liz - Daytime greens again! Just had them two days ago. A bean could get spoiled. Massage was quite painful, she went deep and those are muscles tight. But good when it stops.

@Lara - Morning head butts are unusual, normally it's yelling for food first thing. :roll:

@Rhiannon - Still not quite ready to call it a trend. I've been jaded about Neko's cycles for too long, well since the end of April. :lol: I have a ball I can use on some knots, but some of the shoulder stuff is pretty deep. It would be nice to be able to get rid of knots on my own.

@Mariko - Hard to believe another green day cycle. :mrgreen: Hope I don't have to wait too long for the next one. I'm still getting chiro and was hoping that would get me through until the massage therapist came back. Unfortunately rowing is hard on the older body.

@Nancy - Those late cycle greens make me wonder how much of that I'm missing over night.
@Pepper - I blew it, I didn't get gravy today. :sad:

@Deborah - Neko was a good girl letting me get out today. Good luck on the future husband hunt. :lol: Even having a massage therapist in the family would be lovely! It's a little worrying how much the body depends on massage/chiro work.
