9/16 Rusty AMPS 108, +10 74, PMPS 157, +4 112

Good Monday Morning, Everyone,

Keeping Jupiter, Lucy, and Angela's civvie Shadow in our thoughts today. Healing vines to them and any other kitties & beans who need some.

It's 50 degrees and raining lightly. 50 is supposed to be the high for today. We're supposed to have a freeze tonight. The heat is on (because of the damp) and Rusty is curled up in his little bed next to the radiator. He had a good night, sleeping between his beans, ate all his nighttime food, had a good test this morning, a good shot, breakfast, a delicious lung treat, and once again prefers a nap by the radiator to a schmooze with his mamabean. That's OK, since I am making sandwiches and getting my gear ready for our paddle on Round Lake today (a wilderness lake south of Tupper Lake). Hopefully the predicted "partly sunny" weather will arrive before we put the boats in!

I expect that the LagoonMeister will be on duty soon. Surf safe, Rusty! He'll have the rest of his breakfast and a treat set out on his "chickadee placemat" and his automat will serve him lunch and +8 snack. We will be back from the paddle in the late afternoon.

What a nice start for Rusty today - I just love that amps. I too suspect that he will be at the lagoon shortly.

Enjoy your paddle. I will hope too that you get those partly sunny skies. And freeze tonight? oh my... fall is coming for sure. We have a mixed bag here today: some clearing, come clouds, a touch of fog, and more rains. I am off anywyas - might get a little wet, but the river awaits.

Nice start Rusty. Sounds like a busy day there. At least you are going to be wet from the paddle anyway. What's a little rain? :lol: Have a great day Ella!

Hi Ella. It does look like Rusty will be getting some time in at the Lagoon today. How lucky is he to have a nice warm bed by radiator to nap in after his surf. Kind of the equivalent of a sauna for beans :lol: .

Nice start for Rusty today. Wow on the freeze tonight. It's hard to believe it's that time already. I hope you had a good paddle and got that sunny weather.

Hi again,
It wasn't exactly sunny, although we did see some sun, briefly. What we had was "heavy mist" and wind and rough water. It was great! We got home to find Rusty in his little bed. He had eaten most of the food left for him and he tested 74 at +10. This makes me think he went quite a bit lower earlier. And the bounce to 157 at PMPS seems to confirm that. In any event, his numbers in general are moving back to his norm. He has a week to be "normal" before we leave for NYC a week from today.

I'm glad you had a good paddle. Rusty had a good day too, with nobody bothering him and forcing him to play outside. :lol:

Rusty is such a smart guy, the weather sounds perfect to be in his little bed, supervising the lagoon, as it should be. :mrgreen:

I like Rusty's numbers even thought the PMPS is tiny bit bouncy.
Please ask Rusty to call out for Lucy from the shore when he gets there next.

Hi Ella, Your paddling trips sound sooooo fun! And Rusty's incredibly cooperative - going to the lagoon, but not going overboard with it! :lol: Got a really cute visual of him all curled up in his bed next to the warm radiator. Keep up the surf, Rusty!

Looks like surf might be up for Rusty again tonight as he sleeps between his beans.

Sounds like a great paddle today. I love being on the water in the mist.
