Vet visit yesterday

Zener is doing ok this morning. He did eat on his own and with that BG, there was no concern about giving his shot. He's a little restless but he did just jump up on the condo (1.5 feet), which is a pretty good feat for our CH kitty. :-D We haven't given any bupe. Thank you for everyone's good wishes. It sure helps to have a cheering section. :-D :-D

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter (eat yer fuds, Jupie!), Angela's civie Shadow (diagnosis is cancer, there's nothing to be done), Mariko's Lucy. Paws crossed for OTJ trials, Pixie and Miou. Happy Wednesday, LL!

Hi there, had to check in I heard Zener under the weather, sending out healing vines for fast recovery

Hi Liz. So glad Zener is eating some and able to jump up on his condo. We're sending him lots of healing vines and keeping him in our Prayers.

I'm glad to hear Zener has been eating OK today, and is feeling feisty enough to jump onto his condo. I hope he continues to feel better - and bring those numbers down!

:YMHUG: Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers and healing vines last night and today for our handsome guy. Zener ate better this morning and during the day cycle and was quite demanding for his dinner tonight. :-D We were delighted to see him sliding down a bit at the end of the AM cycle and to start the PM cycle in a different color than he started this morning. There are times when stinky pinky looks nice! ;-)

Poo patrol found three small poos in his LB and around the yard this morning, so it seems to us like this is likely a flare with his GI system. We have paws crossed the fluids last night and giving his cerenia a few days in a row will sort him out again. He is much more comfortable this evening so we have not used any Bupe. We had been threatening a dosecrease if his numbers weren't better last night, we sure didn't expect the kind of drama-rama that ensued. Point taken Zener - no more juice...for now. ;-)

We are so grateful for all your support for Zener and the calming thoughts and vines you sent us beans too! Wishing all a quiet and drama free evening in LL.

I'm so glad to hear that Zener is getting back on track to being his normal self.
He gave us LL-ers quite a scare last night ~ I can only imagine what you guys were going through.

He is much more comfortable this evening so we have not used any Bupe.

I am so glad to hear that Zener is doing better today.
And that he was even demanding for his dinner.
That's great, he must be feeling a lot better.
I continue sending feel better & eat well vines to handsome Zener.
 
Thanks you all! We will take all the cheers, vines, and supportive thoughts and prayers that come our way, who can ever have enough? ;-)

We sure are sorry to have scared LLers last night. We are so grateful for our wonderful vet practice that has evening urgent care hours. When he wouldn't eat at all and seemed to feel feverish and tembly there was no other choice but to go in, fearing it could be some sort of infection, which thankfully it was not. We called ahead to find out which vet was on night duty and it was Zener's 2nd favorite (and ours) so we dashed in right away as there was a very short wait when we called. Liz had her iPad with us, so we can show the vets his SS, and while we were waiting, she read to Zener (and me) all the wonderful words of support and love from his LL family. It really did seem to perk him up!

He has been on a slow slide down all day and appy is much improved tonight. He is resting comfortably on the bed with the sleeping MamaLizBean. Night duty bean will have it easy tonight, a welcome break from last night's drama. Ni ni LL. I-)
 
Oh, Zener boy, feel better little buddy. I'm glad they didn't find anything wrong last night. Please eat your fudz. You need your strength to make those big condo jumps. Now tomorrow lets see some blue and green.

Rest well beans - you deserve a night off after last night. Zener's on his slide and tomorrow will be better numbers. Paws crossed for steady improvement for Zener.
