Yesterday's Condo

Well I was hoping that PM shot yesterday was good but it must have been a partial fur shot. AGAIN!!! This has really gotten ridiculous, but I have to say that I have gotten past it mentally. I can not keep going crazy every time I do it, just makes it much worse. So it is what it is. I really am trying my hardest.
So I blew that great PMPS , managed a good shot this morning and Charms dropped into a green today. He is working hard to make me feel better. I did shave some of that hair on the back of his neck today. Needed help that is why I waited until the weekend to do it ( my DH's hand is still in a cast ) That is also the reason why I have been posting so late, lots of work here and no help!!!!!!
Because Charms has been recovering so quickly from all of my fur shots, will I be in trouble when I actually get all of the insulin into him. Is that what Wendy alluded to yesterday? Charms is taking 7u of insulin. I have been trying to catch up on reading posts today , and have read some pretty scary posts with some really scary low numbers. I am still afraid of those low numbers. Although if I keep up the fur shots i might never have to worry about them!!!

Thanks to everyone who stops by with encouragement, Wendy ( do not know what I would do without your help!) , Josie and Ripley, and Tara and Buster. Tara let me know she also gave some fur shots after being successful for a long period of time. You cannot imagine how good it feels to hear stuff like that. Lets you know you are not alone. - Sam

Hi Sam, good to see that 96 for Charms. He is definitely helping you out by recovering quickly. My comment yesterday was that I expect to see more green on Charms as his depot builds back up. He's doing well on possible partial fur shots but sometimes it takes a cycle or two to see the full impact of a missed shot. I'm hoping he'll get back to the mostly blues and greens he was giving you earlier. And paws crossed start thinking about reductions again.

I've also done more fur shots that I care for. And I can so relate to doing a fur shot when you are on a higher dose of insulin. And I just did another one a couple of weeks ago, just as the depot for Neko's new dose would have been full.

What a nice dip into the lagoon today
We've all done furshots. Like you said, Sam, "it is what it is."

I hope you guys are having a great day!
