10/22 Papaya AMPS=598 PMPS=288 +6=195

Yesterday

Ugh, this looks familiar. I really wish I could get Papaya to stop doing these black to green day-long slides. She didn't want to eat more at +7 before bed, and didn't touch what I left out, so I don't think it's a matter of her dropping into dangerously low territory late at night. She just doesn't like the drop into greens.

Despite the high numbers this morning, she was purry and alert. Just before I left for work, she had suddenly vanished from her cozy little cat bed in the living room, and to my surprise she was back up on my bed. I don't often see her get up there on her own, but clearly she can if she's determined. The snow is really flying this morning, so no wonder she wanted to be tucked in snugly under the covers!

I didn't even know the meters went that high.

What I envision for Papaya, because she's always a few steps ahead of everyone, is that one day she's going to very unexpectedly go OTJ. And nobody will ever be able to explain how or why, and she'll keep the secret to herself, locked in a Swiss safety deposit box.

:roll: I think it's just a hair away from reading "HI". I like your theory about her plans for going OTJ, Lara - that's exactly the sort of thing she would do, just to keep everyone guessing! Here's hoping!

Neko used to wear the crown of the Rainbow Queen, but we are more than willing to hand over that title to Papaya. Paws crossed for some flatness tonight.

What a smart girl to head to the big bed - Cleo is the only furbaby in my house who has ever seen snow. She is a NJ girl, but loves the FL heat

Thanks Jane! Papaya is looking good so far, a very gradual drop so maybe tomorrow will be better.

I'm sure Cleo is happy to have moved south :lol: Papaya is actually "Made in Taiwan" so she's not a fan of the cold stuff either.
