Yesterday nothing but blue and green
Thanks Suzanne and Chris for the visits later last night. Papaya was gradually heading up instead of down so I didn't come back to post the later numbers.
The bounce continued this morning, but I have to say that for Papaya this was a pretty tiny bounce. Green-blue-yellow? Is that all? And now she's back down to what seems to be becoming her favorite colour, blue.
I thought the second breakfast would survive a little longer today. Since Papaya was energetic enough to follow me out to the kitchen for first breakfast, the second breakfast and I were back in the bedroom before her. But as soon as she came in and got up on the bed, I could see her nose going. "Fish, someone has left a fish around here somewhere?" She went and sat in front of the plate and just guarded it for a while, then decided it would be safer in her stomach so down it went. Again no dive despite the lack of spreading out the food, so maybe it doesn't really matter when she eats. Maybe she just needed to decide to stop diving and bouncing all on her own, and it seems like maybe she's getting there.
But I've really got to pick up some more chicken flavour - this is one of the bigger cans of Friskies so that's why we're still doing fish. Oh man, the fishy stuff also makes for some knock-you-down litterbox fumes! And this is what all the fish fumes have done to MY brain . . . today I dreamed up and knit . . . sushi mittens!!
