Good Morning, Everyone,
All Saints Day. I have a story for later in the condo. Rusty had a good night but this morning has climbed up into yellow again. I am now sure that the ear medicine is the cause of his higher bgs. There are only 4 more applications, so after Sunday we'll be able to gauge it better. I don't want to take his dose up because when we go off the corticosteroid he might then be overdose. So we're holding. He doesn't like the ear treatment one bit (neither would I!). Yesterday I caught him scratching behind his ear. I hope it's become "habit" and not that the ear meds aren't working.
Today we have violent weather, with 65 mph wind gusts predicted for this afternoon and tonight. It is very windy already. The utility companies have extra crews on alert. It is warm (upper 50s)--real "hurricane" weather, although this is not a hurricane.
Rusty thanks all his kitty pals for helping to make the annual Halloween Party a success. He says that the Circle of Remembrance was extra meaningful for him because so many of his dear friends crossed to the Bridge this year.
Wishing you all a fine day. Continuing to send healing vines to all in need.

OT: All Saints Day in Vienna. When we were graduate students we spent a year in Vienna, doing research for our dissertations. On Sundays the libraries were closed, so we usually spent the day walking and sightseeing and drinking the new wine in out-of-the-way wine cellars. 1 November was a Sunday. We had been meaning to go to the Central Cemetery to see the graves of the famous composers, artists, philosophers, etc. So we did. Imagine our surprise to find that everyone in Vienna was visiting the cemetery that day! There were flower vendors and food carts everywhere! We had expected it to be cemetery-like. We were really impressed with all those people paying their respects. It was only later that we found out that 1 November was All Saints Day--the traditional day in Austria to visit cemeteries!
