11/6 Neko AMPS 119 PMPS 379

Yesterday, an ugly rainbow day, and a smidge dosecrease.

I fully intended to get a +10 last night, but I was wide awake at +8 (which would have been +9 before the time change), which was time to get up for early morning rowing. Except, it's over for the year. I hope my body clock will get over this soon. It was good to see Neko make it down to lower blues though.

Neko did the eager fuds dance this morning. I had hoped since she was blue she wouldn't be so crazy for food, but nope. Up on the counter, race over to where I was prepping fuds, lean over my shoulder to see if she could get an early helping. Elbow comes in handy there. :lol: Race back to the end of the counter to hop off in anticipation of me being done. But I wasn't, so race back across the counter to help out again. Lather rinse repeat. Beans can be so SLOW in the morning. :lol: Then she walks/hops all the way to where the food dish is put down. Wolfs it down and heads over to help Theo finish his off. So I have to block her off until he's done enough and she can CPC it.

Neko has had a small trip out on the deck. It's just gray with no rain, but things are still wet, so no big trip out. Today's numbers looks like we might have a better day.

Thing of Carl and Bob today. I wish I could send some of our excess appy to Bob and Mariko's Ginger.

Completely OT: A baby seal hitched a ride on a rowing scull in Vancouver today. Cute video.

Nice blues for Neko this morning. I hope she keeps surfing. How neat on the baby seal. I hope your body adjusts to not having to get up early for rowing.

:lol: :lol: You have officially given me the cuteness highlights of my day! I love the Neko helping then hopping story. With the Avatar you use (which is adorable) I can completely picture her! LOVE And thank you for sharing the seal video and story. So bizarre, but sweet!

@Carla - No idea what happened. No smell of Lev, don't usually furshot on that side. Sigh. One of those days.

@Kim - The chair that Neko is sitting on in the avatar is what she hops on first before hopping onto the counter. Seemed appropriate somehow. :lol: I've seen adult seals 10-15 feet away, but this story was rather bizarre but cute.

Hee hee I like the "eager fuds dance" description. I think I'm lucky Papaya can't jump . . . it's dangerous enough these days that she can follow me out to the kitchen for meals, stretch out on the floor and bat at my feet! If she was running around on the counter I'd really be in trouble! Sorry about the bounce or whatever it is that Neko is up to today, ugh.

That baby seal story is sooooo cute . . . I hope it got back safely to its mom after its little outing.
