Just fed 1/2 tsp 5%. This is the lowest +2 Zeke's ever had.

with a drop like that between the preshot and the +2, you're going to want to keep monitoring Zeke tonight. i'd feed some low carb food and check again in either 30 minutes or 1hr, but not longer than that. counting the number of points dropped per hour he's at about 15 points per hour.

are you doing ok?

Well I'm doing ok but Zeke's already getting tired of the ear pricks. Getting ready to take a +3. Hopefully he's calmed down.

are you using neosporin with pain relief ointment on his ears? that sure makes frequent poking more tolerable. takes the owie right out.

Yeah, I use the Neosporin but hadn't tonight. I'll put a dab on. I just fed him 2 tsp 5%. Guess I'll test again in 20.

Would it be ok to wait an hour before testing again? I just fed him another 2tsp 5%. Since he's so close to 50 not sure if I should wait an hour but I don't want him to start giving me trouble with the testing.

I think you can try it although it is early in the cycle. I absolutely would not go past one hour.
