Re: 11/22 Frank PMPS 362
Cats bounce until they stop bouncing. Someone came up with that saying, and it's so true. Each cat is different, but basically they have to spend enough time in lower numbers so the liver gets used to it. It can take a short time or a long time for it to happen. Some cats are more bouncy that others. Some cats you'll see they hit a good dose and all of a sudden stop bouncing. Some bounce until just before remission. So, short answer, don't be surprised to see bouncing when he gets into what are lower numbers than he is used to.
What you can look for is how long he bounces in reaction to the "lows" and how high he bounces. Hopefully those improve over time. My Neko is a bouncer. She used to take the full 6 cycles to get over a bounce, now sometimes she can do it in less than a cycle. In the early days she bounced to black, sometimes now it's just to yellows.
