Yay Saturday! No overtime again this wknd, which is good yet it is that time of year it is much needed, especially with the renos. I am not complaining though as it is currently -30C feels like -35C, (-22F, -31F) and going outside seems much less appealing than walking around in my fuzzy robe and slippers :-D

Twice is picking away at his first can of brefs. Had a poo, was a bit hard but not over the top. Gave me a green last night and we started the day with a blue. So I am liking this dose! Please no boing Twicey :roll: :-D

OT=The strays are driving me nuts :lol: Ripping around the house like they own the place, knocking stuff flying everywhere they go. And the worst of it is, I am so sad to put them back out. They have a heated condo, are VERY well fed, and cared for in any way I can provide. So they have it pretty darn good compared to others...so why do I feel so guilty? Of course they can stay inside with temps like this. It just feels so unfair to the actual housecats who can't come up while they are here (health concerns, poss parasites, fighting, stress...) Oh bleeding hearts do have alot of conflict in our lives don't we :lol:

Sending health and wellness vines to all kitties and beans in need, and huge hugs and love to Marje & Mike as well as the many other broken hearted.

I am cold just reading your post. Wow, that is frosty!! Definitely stay in side with you warm slippers/robes and warm kitties. Hope that the strays calm down and you get some peace. I'm sure they will be fine to go out once the temps rise, you clearly care a great deal about their safety.

May Twice give you good numbers today!

That's some very nice flatness for Twice so far today! I don't blame you for having a bleeding heart over the strays. It does sound like their set up outside is very posh, but once a kitty crosses the threshold, it is hard to deny them. Of course, the concerns about the housecats make sense, too....oh, the conflict. I am sure it will even out for you, Kim...your heart is enormous. Have a great day!!!

Nice blues for Twice this morning. It would be hard for me to put the strays back outside too, even though they have it great. I don't blame you for keeping them away from your inside kitties.

Oh my ... Those r some very cold temps burrrrr !!!

You are so awesome to be taking care of the strays....hope they calm down some for you.

Hope Twice gives you some good numbers today and you stay all warm and cozy in your robe and slippers!

Mornin' Kim - excellent job over in Ophie's condo today. I see Twice is rewarding you with some lovely flatness today. :-D

Fuzzy robe and slippers is definitely the way to go today. Bet it feels warmer with the new windows. Sorry about the dilemma with the strays. I'm so glad none show up here - all we've got hanging around are well fed visitors.

Hi Kim! Glad you (and all the extra kitties!) got to stay inside today! When I used to live in Taiwan, people couldn't comprehend the temps I would tell them I grew up with. They would ask if you wouldn't die from breathing air that cold :lol:

I posted in my condo about the B12, but just so you have it here too: I just break the little tablets into quarters with my fingers and mash them into the food. They're the kind that are meant to dissolve in your mouth so they start to kind of dissolve into the food anyway, and Papaya doesn't seem to mind the little chunks (although she will spit out other pills I've tried to give her). I started out by giving her one tablet with each PS meal, but it didn't seem to be doing a lot and her walking was really bad, so I upped it to 2 tablets per PS meal (4 a day) and it seems to have slowly done its thing. Each tablet is 1000mcg.

Brrrr ~ too many 'negatives' in your condo this morning. Fuzzy slippers and robe (and fire and hot chocolate and warmer temps) sound perfect :-D .

Nicely done, Twice! :-D :-D :-D Maybe a dip in that tropical lagoon? The outside cats have it pretty good, I think, lots better than most. And, yes, they do own the place. :lol: :lol:

@Ella-Positively tropical Indeed! :lol: There are 7 indoor kitties, 1 in/out because he misses his family outside (was a stray but DH fell for the 'act' Rubber put on), 4 'regulars' that are spoiled strays, and for sure 4 'drop bys' that we have seen.

Seriously on that temp? -35C???? omg. I will never ever complain about being cold again... Kudos to you though for caring fr the strays.

woo-hoo, Twice! When you dip into the lagoon, you don't mess around!!!! :mrgreen: 'Tis the time to surf now, ok?!

Thanks to your condo, I am now cold. I definitely commend anyone that can live in those temps and not be frozen stiff during the winter months. My bones are cold just thinking about it. Stay warm and sleep well, Kim!
