Yesterday or rather last night :roll: , Neko did her first ever all green cycle. :-D :-D :-D

I've heard that Levemir can make cycles flatter, but WOW on last night! She really fell apart for AMPS this morning. :lol: :lol: Last night I kept on double checking the meter. It's hard to believe she surfed with a variation of 3 points for at least 7 hours.

Naturally Neko was raring to go for breakfast this morning. Last night she kept hinting she'd like some yummy food by heading into the kitchen, but that 80's surf (my favorite kind) didn't earn anything extra. It's frosty again this morning so the deck go about a 3 minutes visit before she wanted in again. Now she's camped by the heating vent waiting for the autofeeder (Otto) to produce.

OT: More huck ups from Theo. :sad: Might call vetty to see if I can get him checked out today.

Wow what a beautiful night Neko had! :mrgreen: Yeah she sure did blow it though at AMPS eh :lol: You must be just thrilled with the Lev. Did I ask you already what made you change? I know I meant to but I don't think I did. As to your post to me yesterday, I think I will have to order the B12, but how does one dose it? I have no idea on the amount they get?.

@Kim - I switched to Lev because she was always doing her lows at night (since end of February this year) and I was desperate to try to change that. I'd tried almost everything else I could think of. Turns out Neko just likes to go low at night. :roll: As for the B12, I don't give any to Neko so can't suggest amounts. The Zobaline is formulated for cats so would be the correct amount. Perhaps ask Amy/Papaya what quantity she uses if you go to off the shelf B12. They will pee out any extra, so it's not a big deal if you give more than they need.

Might seem like she's going in the wrong direction, but she's not. On Lev, her cycles are a delayed, so this is more like what her +1 or +2 would have been on Lantus. Onset happens after this. After last night I was mentally preparing for a yellow or pink when I tested her. :lol:

@Nancy - Every once in a while she surprises and amazes me. She's done a couple of all green cycles, except for the AMPS, so I was happy to see her hold there - just.

@Michelle - Gotta enjoy them while I get them, that was not a common type of cycle.

@Liz - Daytime, time for BG's to get up too. :roll: I didn't call the vet on Theo yet, he seemed to handle breakfast fine. I panicked last night when he refused a piece of freeze dried chicken - he ALWAYS wants his share of the test treats.

@Carla - This cycle is looking a little more blue. Theo is doing a bit better now, definitely better than last night.

@Amy - A bean could get used to cycles like this. :-D Liver will kick in soon enough though. :roll:

I'm late but WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT for the first ALL GREEN cycle last night!!!
And Neko is looking really nice today too! No bounce!!!
Maybe she read the condo.... maybe working harder to get some extra yummy.....

I hope Theo is doing OK....
It's worrying when they start hacking up hairballs too often.
Are you using any hairball remedy?

@Anne - It was only a quick dip down to the deep end, then she zipped back to the beach.

@Josie - I love green starts too!

@Mariko - Not sure why no bounce yet, I'm sure it's coming. Theo seems OK tonight. I am giving him some hairball remedy and he is getting coconut oil in his food. Just seems to be a lot of hair right now.

@Rhiannon - I didn't see anything higher than a blue. :lol:

@Deborah - Sometimes she looks really good on Lev, sometimes not, today was one of the better ones. Vines received and seem to be working!

@Rise - Neko's been on Lev since mid September, so a little over two months. It seems to agree with her. I'm just using Purebites FD chicken. But I've also got FD duck hearts, quails necks, turkey livers, duck gizzards, .... These last ones are only available in Canada. Both cats love em.
 
OHHHHH!!! Where do you buy the FD duck hearts, quail, etc that you listed, treats Wendy??? So far Twice hates all things Purebites and well everything I've tried from Pet Valu, except Benny's Bully's Beef Bites. LOOOOOOVES those....for now :lol: :lol:
 
Wow, fantastic night for Neko :-D ! Sending good thoughts for another flat green night! Hope little Theo feels better too.
