Good morning, everyone,

Rusty is way up there this morning. I think I may have given a fur shot or partial fur shot last night. He wasn't being cooperative and we were about to leave for pizza with our friend. Oh well, the shot was good this morning; he was eating his nighttime food shortly before AMPS, so that factors into his AMPS number.
We are waiting for the big storm ( a nor'easter) to hit. Tomorrow will be the worst, with lots of rain and wind. Macy's is evaluating the situation to determine if the balloons can fly. But we worry about our house. Weather forecast for home is for a foot of heavy wet snow--the kind that brings down trees and power lines. Jenny may get her first opportunity to work.

Lots of things to do today before the opera tonight.

Yo Kitties, today let's visit our cousin lions, Patience and Fortitude, at the NY Public Library. They are wearing their Christmas wreaths around their necks. Then we can go to the Metropolitan Museum to see our ancestors in the Egyptian galleries. Lunch on the steps from a hot dog cart. Maybe a ferry ride in the afternoon if the rain holds off. Otherwise we can gather here in my apartment and watch the boats on the Easr River.

OUCH on that amps. Bummer on the possible fur shot, and I hope he will spend the day coming down to the lower floors. Right Rusty?

We have been hearing about the pending storm for your area, and all the the east coast, on our news here. It sounds like a nasty Thanksgiving storm. I will hope for the best for you guys. Those wet snows can cause such trouble. Paws crossed that all will be well with your home. and Go Jenny go!

Rusty! RUSTY! Guess what! Mannie came to me in a dream last night - he was so excited about the NYC trip, and wanted to let me know he is there with you guys, in spirit. He loves the lions. He says to make sure you guys pose too, and then move ad freak out the tourists. He loved that part. heeheehee. He says too not to forget the kraut on the hot dogs, for Maggie. She loved the kraut. I hope Rusty slides down today. I hate not knowing if it was a fur shot. Rusty will get back on track soon. I hope the weather is not as bad as they're predicting.

Hi again,
We were out all day running around. The rain has started. The forecast is dire (they like to do that). Rusty had a "rest day" in yellow and hopefully won't zoom up at PMPS. We had a nice schmooze this afternoon.

We are really looking forward to the opera. We haven't' seen "Die Frau ohne Schatten" since the early 1990s.

Have a wonderful night at the opera, Ella and Edward. I hope that the weather forecasts for NYC and Saranac Lake are greatly exaggerated and that you have safe travels for the holidays. They are predicting our first snowfall of the season for tonight. It should make for a messy drive to school in the morning. It's final exam week for me, and I just want to get it over with!

Oh my, what a wonderful time to be in NYC, without the nor'easter of course! Rusty must be enjoying all the adventures on big cat hill and the two wonderful lions at the library in their holiday finery. Perhaps he is sneaking out for some sweet treats?

Nice flat yellow day today, Rusty is giving you permission slips, but not being tooo dramatic about it. Enjoy the opera, I don't know that one , but I do love Strauss.
