Happy Dreaded Lupita Friday for all of us except Gracie   Big huge dental recovery vines for Zener and also extra special prayers for Rhiannon's Shadow that her hip will be fine and all will be well. Also, "stay off the juice" wishes for Chyna.

So the LBG was not as stressed by the plumbers today as she was the tile guys yesterday. Probably because the plumbers were quiet. Unfortunately, the tile guys will be back Monday to finish taking out the shower floor and then start rebuilding and laying tile. So Monday will be another  day for her. After that, it should be quieter. She was out and about today and really wanted to get into the mbr but it was off limits. It's too cold for her to spend much time on the catio. She was out there earlier at the warmest part of the day but as soon as the sun was off of it, she was in the house. Mike has gone back to work so the three of us will have a relatively quiet weekend.

Whatever was going on yesterday, which was probably a touch bounce and a touch stress, cleared out last night and Lil Stinka surprised me with a 45 at T/F/S time even though I gave her a little snack at +10. But she came up enough for me to shoot. Unfortunately, the 121 is likely due to one of the new foods we're trying since her old reliable "control the fast drops and low numbers" 10% makes her barf now. So....perhaps back to the drawing board on fuds. We'll see what happens....if she comes back down, it's fud. If she doesn't, could be the start of a bounce. She was in the 40s a couple times between last night and today.

Hope you are all well. Spent the day dealing with plumbers, the garage door guy (because our garage door decided to not open today), and working on the video for my mom. I had some pictures in frames out in the garage...family ones that I could look at while I worked out and I decided to bring them in and scan them for my iPhotos and two of them had scorpions under the frame. EWWWWW!!! But they were dead.

See you back here tonight!

 scorpions? in your garage? oh my. i got stung on a foot by a scorpion in Guatemala one time and before that sucker was through with me, my entire leg was swolllen up to my hip. they are bad boys!

i love hearing about Dreaded Lupita Friday! poor gracie!

Re: 12/6 Gracie PMPS 91

Ha Julie! They are in our house sometimes!! Mike and I have both stepped on them in the middle of the night. When Gracie was a baby and weighed 1 lb, I caught her with one cornered in the bathroom and I swear it was almost as big as she was

Looks like the high number was food. Perhaps back to the drawing board.

Re: 12/6 Gracie PMPS 91

Me neither! I seem to remember a prior condo that featured a tarantula too. nailbite_smile

I'm sticking with "off the east coast". I'll take my chances with copperheads and gators :-D

Re: 12/6 Gracie PMPS 91

Good luck with the food search. How frustrating the other food makes her sick now. Eww on the scorpions. I'm glad we don't have them around here.

Re: 12/6 Gracie PMPS 91

Very nice LBG!  Plumbers make way less noise than tile guys. And now it's the weekend. :-D :-D

Good luck on the fuds hunt - I'm sort of glad I don't have to worry about fining tuning carbs. Though she did a nice recovery.

Re: 12/6 Gracie PMPS 91

Lots of good greens today LBG....

I'm staying with my mountains.... we hardly have any bugs here at all.... some beetles, ants, walking sticks, bees and flys ( which come in late july )
and an orange spider ( a species of orb weavers) that position themselves on the eaves for optimum feeding near porch lights.
One summer we were in Texas when my kids were 11 and 7 and they had never seen so many bugs. There were multicolored flying bugs
that looked like fly fishing lures. They were so-o-o freaked out.

I have a case of Felidae Platinum 9% carb.... 190 phosphorus ( says chicken, turkey, lamb and fish formula in chicken broth)
and also Triumph Turkey formula 6% carb ... 213 phosphorus
if you'd like a can or two to sample and see what Gracie thinks. I couldn't find any one selling it by the can.

I've also been more successful at getting mine to eat Newman's own organic turkey and brown rice 9% with 206 phosphorus. They sell it at my Smiths grocery.
I say that since you are looking for a 10% to help float the lows.

Re: 12/6 Gracie PMPS 91

Thanks for the no juice wishes! We're hoping the same ;-) Blech, scorpions. One good thing about being in the cold country I guess :o Ugh on the fuds searching, I feel like I could quote some of those charts by now  I hope Gracie has a nice (safe surfing) night, and you too! :YMHUG:

Thanks for all the visits!

Rhiannon...thanks so much for your generous offer. I actually grabbed some of the Felidae Platinum at the store the other day and can also get the Paul Newman stuff at Whole Foods just up the street. I think we're good but I really appreciate the offer. :YMHUG:
