Yesterday and another typical Neko day. Pop up to the yellow floor during the day to see who is up there, then settle back down on blue and check out the lagoon at night.

Neko was amazingly good this morning. She politely waited for Theo to walk away from his dish instead of barging in and pushing him away. I typically spend my mornings trying to defend Theo from the land shark while I'm trying to fill the syringe. At times like this I could use another hand or foot. :lol: Neko half thought about going outside, she went half way down the inside stairs before deciding she didn't really want out. It's another gray day, I don't blame her. So we got some more pets in instead. I've noticed her fur is feeling even more soft if possible.

So we are now on day 76 of the cartridge. It's almost empty and then I'll have to try another one in my 5 pack and hope it hasn't gone bad like the second one had. It's been an interesting experiment to see how long I could go on this one. Judging by last night's green streak, it's still good.

My heart goes out to Josie today as she spends a special day with Ripley. I'm also sending good dental and dental recovery vines to Hershey, Ozy, and Furball. Neko gets her dental a week today.

Sometimes i wonder if you put Neko upside down,.. would she go low during the day instead of at night? Prolly not. Her numbers are looking pretty darn lovely!
Give her a couple sweet scritches from me please. Soft kitty fur is wonderful to bury a face in..
I get the picture of you needing just one more appendage to get all the morning jobs done at the same time. :razz:

And back we go. I'm typing on the iPad with Neko warming my lap. Doesn't get any better than this.

@Rhiannon- on Lev Neko onsets after +4 so usually goes up after PS. But she was eyeing the cereal this morning. :lol:

@Mary - great to see you! I switched to Lev to see if I could break her patterns. No dice. Upside down or not, Neko just likes to go low at night. :roll:

@Michelle - I bet we all wish it was that easy to change the cat's BG patterns. Soft fur and warm lap - priceless!

@Liz - I guess Zener wasn't talking either? :lol:

Ok now I am really curious what these kitties are up to at the lagoon...Twice is actually crashed out. He muttered something about "The Crew" and I believe the word Karaoke???
Nice report that Neko is feeling the Christmas spirit toward Theo and letting him eat :lol: I guess she doesn't want to find any coal in her stocking!

Way to keep your mom on her toes, Neko!

I hear ya' on needing an extra hand or foot! I heat Oreo's food, fill the syringe while his food is in the microwave. Next, heat Hershey's food, put both foods down and whisk Hershey off to be tested while Oreo gets to start eating in peace.

Day 76 of the cartridge? I've been pleased at how long each pen lasts us. We filled the prescription June, 2012 and are still using on the 5th pen.

Very cool on the pen!!!! Wow! Nekos cycles look like Gracies have in the past only the a.m. and p.m reversed. They come up around +4 or +5 and then down again. Curious.....but Nekos SS looks super.

Poor Theo...he needs mama protection. :?

Neko is currently sleeping in her bed with her head upside down and earlier she was lying on her back, belly up, playing with toys. But I still think she's going down at night. Going upside down doesn't seem to be helping, :lol: :lol: :lol:

@Ella - I think Libby has the record for pen length now. I'll try to break in on the next one. Looks like Neko is surfing for a while as requested.

@Kim - Neko's gone quiet - not a peep from her either, but I think I spotted flakes of catnip on her whiskers. :lol: Neko's Christmas spirit was short lived at dinner time.

@Libby - Wow on the pen usage! I think the Lantus ones poop out a little earlier. The second one in my pack was bad so I went back to the first. But it's almost empty - gonna have to try a new one soon. Neko's a food monster, I can't prep food before testing - she wouldn't sit still, so it's test, prep food and feed, prep syringe and poke - though I could probably prep the syringe first. And Neko finishes her raw food in less than 30 seconds - she eats slower on canned food.

@Marje - I too have been looking at Gracie's SS and can definitely see similar cycles, with the AM and PM switched of course. :roll: Poor Theo is right - he's just a slower eater, unless it's kangaroo.

@Cheryl - I switched Neko to Levemir in mid-September and it's taken a while to start to see her patterns again.

Wendy, I missed Neko's condo yesterday. It looks like she had a good night. Thanks for the dental wishes for Furball.
